The Enrichment Center, a full service tutoring and enrichment center, located at 424 Central Avenue in Westfield, is housed in a modern facility which is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible.  The Center has ample on-site free parking. The Enrichment Center employs over 85 New Jersey State certified and experienced teachers.  Students from pre-kindergarten through grade twelve can and will find a course of study, which is appropriate. No class is larger than eight students.

A newly developed gifted and talented division has been created at The Enrichment Center. “Parents have been requesting that we add to our existing courses and create a truly gifted division within The Enrichment Center,” says Mrs. Elaine Sigal, owner and director. “We will be offering 11 week classes in the fall on topics such as: Medieval Times, Anthropology, Genealogy, Sign Language, The History of Forensics, and The Stock Market.”  Experienced New Jersey State certified teachers will teach these classes.  Students must meet requirements to be allowed into these classes.

The Enrichment Center believes that all children should be challenged and not stifled. Many students are not eligible for the gifted program in their school, if one even exists for their age. A decrease in school funding has forced many districts to limit or eliminate this needed program. The Enrichment Center's gifted program fills this void; it stimulates the interest of the child, while not attempting to push a child so far ahead in school that it creates more problems in the classroom. This is called lateral enrichment. New ideas are introduced based on the student's knowledge and ability.

The gifted program runs for children in kindergarten through grade eight. All materials used are above grade level, encouraging students to think critically and achieve a higher level of learning. When children are excited, challenged and motivated, they soar. Elementary and middle school years are a time of exploration for children. We need to understand that their minds are like sponges, able and willing to absorb whatever comes their way.

The Enrichment Center also offers classes for enrichment and remediation, as well as classes for high school students.  The SAT program is extensive and successful.
